Base Salary: $100,000–$110,000

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced and service-driven Pool & Beach General Manager to oversee all day-to-day operations of a premier luxury beach club located on Hawaii's Kohala Coast. This highly visible leadership role is responsible for delivering an exceptional guest experience while managing pool, beach, and food & beverage operations within one of Hawaii's most sought-after oceanfront destinations. The role oversees daily operations, financial performance, team development, guest satisfaction, and experiential programming while maintaining the highest standards of luxury hospitality.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead all daily Beach Club operations, ensuring exceptional service, safety, cleanliness, and operational excellence.
  • Oversee pool, beach, and outdoor food & beverage operations while maintaining elevated luxury service standards.
  • Develop and implement operational procedures that improve efficiency, consistency, and guest satisfaction.
  • Manage departmental budgets while controlling labor, food, and beverage costs to maximize profitability.
  • Analyze financial reports, labor performance, and operational metrics to identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Recruit, hire, train, coach, and develop both hourly and management team members.
  • Foster a culture centered on hospitality, accountability, teamwork, and service excellence.
  • Ensure consistent execution of food quality, beverage standards, and guest service throughout all Beach Club operations.
  • Lead beach club programming, special events, activations, and guest experiences that enhance the overall resort experience.
  • Partner closely with culinary, recreation, engineering, housekeeping, and resort leadership teams to ensure seamless operations.
  • Maintain all safety, sanitation, CPR, food safety, and regulatory compliance standards.
  • Serve as an active, visible leader on the floor, engaging with guests and team members throughout each shift.


Preferred Qualifications

Experience

  • Minimum (3) three years of leadership experience managing luxury pool, beach, or resort food & beverage operations.
  • Proven success leading high-volume outdoor hospitality environments.
  • Strong financial acumen with experience managing budgets, labor, food costs, and beverage costs.
  • Experience leading large, diverse hospitality teams while developing future leaders.
  • Strong operational knowledge of luxury guest service standards and resort operations.
  • Experience coordinating events, guest programming, and experiential activations is highly preferred.
  • Extensive wine, spirits, and beverage knowledge.

Education & Certifications

  • Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education and hospitality leadership experience.
  • CPR and First Aid Certification required.
  • Food Safety Certification required.
  • Blue Card Certification preferred.
